Sign-in and passkeys

Updated 20 October 2026

An account on Erozyx is free and optional. You can watch, search and keep lists without one; an account is one place for everything that is yours, on every device and on every site of the network.

No email needed

To sign up, choose a nickname and a password; the site can also make up a strong password for you. Right after that it shows a recovery code, once, on the screen: keep it somewhere safe, it lets you back in if you forget the password. An email address is an optional extra that you can add later in “Subscriptions” in your account settings: once confirmed, it lets you back in with a link, even without the code, keeps your history longer and lets you sign in with it instead of the nickname. Recovery codes stay on the screen and never travel by email.

One account for every site of the network

Erozyx belongs to a network of sites that share one account system. The same nickname and password work on each of them, and your lists of videos go with you. Your account settings show where the account is signed in, on every site of the network; signing out everywhere or deleting the account works on all of them at once.

Passkeys

A passkey lets you sign in with your fingerprint, your face or your device’s screen lock instead of typing a password; your password keeps working too. Add one in the security settings of your account, give it a name, and remove it at any time. A passkey works on the site where you added it, because your browser ties each passkey to one site; on another site of the network, add one there too. Your fingerprint or face stays on your device: the site only gets the passkey’s answer.

Protection that stays out of your way

  • Changing Wi-Fi or network keeps you signed in and never asks for your password again.
  • A browser that has not been used for a long time is asked once to confirm it is you, with your password, a passkey or a link to your confirmed email; browsing goes on while you do it.
  • With a confirmed email, a sign-in from a browser and an address the account does not know brings a short notice with a button to sign out everywhere.
  • Changing your password signs out your other devices.
  • The security settings list your sessions: end any one of them, or sign out everywhere else.
  • Too many wrong passwords in a row pause new attempts for a while, and the message tells a stranger nothing about whether a nickname exists.

Your data

In your account settings you can download everything the account keeps, or delete the account on every site of the network at once. What is kept and for how long: Privacy Policy. More answers about the account: Help and FAQ.
